Realme is gearing up to launch its new Realme 8 series soon in the market. Well, the exact timeframe of its launch is still unknown but the company has come up to confirm some key camera features.
At its digital Camera Innovation Event, Realme confirmed that its upcoming Realme 8 Pro phone will adopt the latest generation Samsung 108MP sensor HM2. Well, Realme had already teased the 108MP camera sensor later in February, indicating it is utilizing the sensor. While it confirmed the megapixels, the type of sensor was unknown. But, now, via its event, Realme has confirmed the name of the sensor as well.
The 108MP ISOCELL HM2 is the third-generation sensor from Samsung introduced in September last year. It has features like faster and effective phase detection, 3x lossless zoom, and nine-pixel binning technology, which crops a 108MP image in 12MP size. It also features Smart-ISO for brighter and crisp pictures even in low-light situations.
