You can now use Google Pay to send money from the US to India - Android

Google has announced that Google Pay users in the US can send money to their family and friends in India and Singapore. The facility is available starting today in the country. Google has partnered with Western Union and Wise to integrate their services into Google Pay and help users transfer money.

Google believes that by the end of this year, the US Google Pay users will be able to send money to people in more than 200 countries and territories through Western Union and to more than 80 countries through Wise.

Google says the facility will ease the financial anxieties of loved ones. The pandemic has hit hard many parts of Asia, especially India and Latin America and Google believes it is the right time to let the users living in the US help their loved ones in the affected countries the easiest way.
