Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event saw the launch of four notebooks spread across two categories: Galaxy Book (2021) lineup and Galaxy Book Pro series. It has taken wraps off one more laptop that was not talked about during the keynote. We are talking about the Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha that has quietly been listed on the official website.
The newest model has the same 2-in-1 360-degree convertible design as the original one from last year. The Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha is available in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch display size options. It is a Full HD QLED panel with touchscreen input support and up to 600 nits of brightness. These are powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors with Intel Iris Xe GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 512GB of SSD storage.
The connectivity options include one HDMI port, one USB Type-C port, one USB 3.2 port, a microSD card support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a 54Wh battery claimed to last for about 18.5 hours on a single charge. The good thing is that it supports 40W charging speeds which should reduce the charging time. Since it is a convertible laptop, it also supports stylus input and comes bundled with Samsung's S-Pen.
