Samsung has officially confirmed the existence of an unreleased smartphone named Galaxy A82 5G. The yet-to-be-released smartphone is listed on the official software support page of the company. It is listed under the quarterly update section suggesting that once the phone launches, it will be receiving a new software update after each quarter.
The listing does not reveal anything else about the Galaxy A82 5G, not even any kind of render to get us an idea of what the phone might look like. It only confirms that the phone's existence and its commercial name. There have been rumors that it will actually be a rebranded version of the Galaxy Quantum 2, a security-focused smartphone that debuted in South Korea last month.
It means the Galaxy A82 5G should be sporting a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a centered punch-hole. The refresh rate of the panel is expected to be up to 120Hz. There will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor with possibly multiple configuration options. The South Korean version has just a single 6GB/128GB option though.
