Instagram's auto-captions feature for Stories is finally here. It was under the testing phase for quite some time and was first reported about in the month of March. The aim of the feature is to make Stories more accessible and inclusive so that even users with hearing issues can understand what is being said.
The new feature is available as a dedicated sticker like many of the other story-related stickers available on Instagram. It will automatically transcribe everything that will be said in a Story. The feature is currently available only in English language and English-speaking countries but will be expanded to other languages and countries in the future. Once the captions have been generated, Instagram allows users to make manual adjustments like editing words, choosing font color and style to ensure that other users can understand the message clearly.

Now you can add a captions sticker in Stories (coming soon to Reels) that automatically turns what you say into text.
