Qualcomm working on Android-powered Switch-like clone | Report - Android

Qualcomm is hoping to price the console around $300.

Qualcomm is reportedly working on a new hardware device similar to the Nintendo Switch handheld gaming console. The report is coming from Android Police citing an anonymous familiar with the developments. This particular device will come powered with Android which would make it compatible with a wide range of titles.

The report reveals that this mysterious Qualcomm gaming device looks exactly like the Nintendo Switch. It features dual detachable controllers that will let users play games with ease. There will be support for microSD cards so that storage space can be expanded for installing a higher number of games. It will also have 5G connectivity support and the Android 12 operating system.

The display panel on the device is tipped to be 6.5-inches tall with Full HD+ resolution. There is a 6,000mAh battery to keep the lights on and will be compatible with Quick Charge fast charging. It will also have a fan for cooling purposes as we know that long gaming sessions can result in the device heating up.
