Google Photos now supports adding files to albums even when offline - Android

It is a server-side change seen on recent Google Photos versions.

Google Photos is one of the best photo storage and management apps out there. It is packed with numerous features and one of those is the ability to create albums for a better categorization of media files. The only drawback to the feature is that it requires you to be online but that is changing with the latest update.

As spotted by Android Police, Google Photos now supports adding media files to albums when offline. This is an important change as it will let users update their albums even when on the go. All these changes will get saved locally as you will be adding new media files to a particular album. Once you will connect to the internet, the app will automatically sync all the changes so that you can get those newly added files on other devices.
