Dropbox's password manager hosts private credentials | UPDx2 - Available in Basic plan too - Android

Dropbox has launched the Dropbox Passwords app to manage your passwords. The app is currently in beta on Play Store and can be installed on invite-only basis.

Update: March 17, 2021

Dropbox announced a new Password Manager along with a new Vault and backup service to its paid users, leaving the users with a Basic plan thirsty. But now the file hosting service has understood that the users on Dropbox Basic plan require some love as well. And, to do the least, Dropbox has introduced the Password manager to its users with a Basic plan as well. But here is a small catch. Users with the Basic plan will be able to sync only 50 passwords at most. Also, syncing is allowed on up to three devices only. Dropbox also announced that the secure sharing of passwords will soon be introduced soon.

Well, the new addition still looks pretty attractive despite the limitations. Spending $9.99 per month for a Dropbox Plus subscription even when you do not require Vault and computer backup is overkill and it is good to note that Dropbox has understood it on time and released the very basic password manager for customers opting for the Basic plan.
