Apple AirTag finally goes official with precision tracking, available starting April 30 - Android

Apple AirTag, the item tracker finally went official at Apple’s special Spring Loaded event. The tiny device, which is circular in shape has the capability to precisely locate your lost items. Apple announces AirTag leverages Find My network to locate and track your belongings.

AirTag comes with a built-in speaker that plays sound to help you locate the lost item. Users can assign AirTag to any item like keys, handbag, backpack, or any other belonging you do not wish to go out of your sight.

AirTag is essentially a small and lightweight device made out of polished stainless steel. It is also IP67 rated which makes it water and dust resistant. It comes with a removable cover that makes it easy for users to replace the battery. Apple mentions that connecting AirTag with your iPhone is as easy as connecting its wireless audio accessory AirPods.
