An iPad mini Pro New rumor mill suggests what else is on the cards - Android

An iPad mini Pro? Well, looks like a new rumor mill is about to start that may soon join existing rumors on Apple products. We have been hearing a lot about what Apple might have planned for this year. Speculations on the new iPad mini, iPad Pro, new iPhone models, have been swirling around for a while now. But, now, a new detail has surfaced up that tells Apple has more surprises in store for all of us.

According to a Korean blog Naver, Apple has an iPad mini Pro in the making. The so-called “iPad mini Pro” has allegedly passed Apple’s initial R&D and product planning stages of development. Reportedly, it is currently in the design “P2” stage. The report also alleges that the device is ready to move to the design validation test (DVT) stage sooner or later. As Macrumors points out, in a typical product roadmap, Apple would then submit it for the production validation tests before pushing the device for mass production.

According to the blog, the iPad mini Pro could launch in the second half of this year. The device might feature an 8.7-inch screen size, with increased width and reduced height compared to the existing iPad mini 5. This aligns with a prediction made by the famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo back in May 2020. He said the next-generation iPad mini might measure around 8.5 or 9-inches from the current 7.9-inch screen size. Furthermore, a recent report from the Japanese site Mac Otakara also reported that the next iPad mini will have an 8.4-inch display. So, there have already been some speculations on the alleged device, but this time we are hearing a new name for it.
