The gaming smartphone brand iQOO has unveiled two smartphones named iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend in India. The names might look familiar but they are quite different from what you might be expecting. The vanilla iQOO 7 is actually the rebranded iQOO Neo5 that debuted in China last month. As for the iQOO 7 Legend, it is the Android flagship that went official as simply iQOO 7 in China earlier this year.
The iQOO 7 Legend has been announced in India as a part of a partnership with BMW M Motorsport. It sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a centered punch-hole. This gives it a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 91.4% screen-to-body ratio. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate but supports dynamic adjustment that varies depending on the content. It can choose from 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and the highest 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor coupled with 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It is available with 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage respectively. The phone has a triple rear camera setup including a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture and OIS, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor. There is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture on the device housed inside the punch-hole.
