Apple is widely rumored to bring noticeable changes to the display tech with the iPhone 13 launch. A fresh leak that corroborates those claims while also providing details about exactly what to expect. Ross Young, a well-known display analyst, has tweeted that there will be two iPhone 13 models featuring the new LTPO OLED display panels.
These two models will be part of the iPhone 13 Pro family i.e. iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apple is reported to be working on the LTPO display tech for quite some time and was also rumored to debut it on the iPhone 12 series. It scrapped the idea as it was not satisfied with the final quality but seems like things have become better now. It must be satisfied with the result as it has now reportedly given a green signal to the tech's usage on commercially available units.
Heard some rumors in the industry and media that there would only be one LTPO model from Apple later this year. Can confirm that is not the case. Apple fans can relax!
