iPadOS 15 may bring redesigned home screen for iPads - Android

Apple may bring redesigned iPad Home screen via iPadOS 15. Apple may talk about the new OS versions at its upcoming WWDC event.

Apple reportedly has some big plans for the iPad and iPhones and it may shoot them up with the help of the upcoming iPadOS 15 and iOS15 updates. Apple is all set to hold its WWDC event in June where it is expected to make announcements around the new iterations of its respective operating systems for different platforms. A report from Bloomberg throws light on the expected features that Apple might announce with the iPadOS 15.

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg cites the people aware of the matter and reports the changes he has heard. According to the report, Apple has redesigned Home Screen for iPad and also revamped the way to handle notifications. The new feature will allow users to set different notification preferences, such as if the phone makes a sound or not. Together with this, the report states Apple has also planned an updated Lock Screen UI for iOS devices.

The report claims that Apple will bring a new menu with iOS 15 so to allow users to handle their notifications accordingly. Users will be able to customize alert preferences depending on the current activity, like driving, working, sleeping, or other categories. For instance, users can set that the notifications only make a sound when they are not at work. The auto-reply feature is currently only available while driving. But the enhancement will help in setting up the preferences better.
