Telegram now supports schedule voice chats, Payments 2.0 - Android

Telegram is pushing out a new app update that brings another set of noteworthy features. There are actually a couple of major new features. The first one is the ability to schedule voice chats and the second one is the improved Telegram Payments. Both of these updates are available on both Android and iOS devices.

Voice chat support is available on Telegram for quite some time and most recently, it was expanded to Channels so that it can take on Clubhouse. The team has now made it possible for users to set voice chat timers. The good thing is that Telegram lets users choose their preferred date and time. Once the timer is reached, the app will alert all the participants about the voice chat time.

Since voice chats usually have multiple participants, Telegram has now introduced Mini Profiles so that users can know about each other with ease. These profiles can be checked by simply tapping on a particular user's name. A user can choose to set a profile picture and a small bio. All of these things can be done without exiting the ongoing voice chat interface.
