Alongside the flagships Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III, Sony has taken wraps off the mid-ranger Xperia 10 III. It is the company's first 5G mid-range smartphones and a successor to the Xperia 10 II from last year. The product design looks almost identical but Sony says it has made the latest release a lot more compact. It has also focused on ensuring a good battery life despite the added 5G connectivity.
The Xperia 10 III sports a 6.01-inch Full HD+ (2520 x 1080 pixels) OLED display with HDR support. It has a 21:9 aspect ratio with no punch-hole or notch on the front. The panel offers a 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 97% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and Trilumunous display tech.
Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. There is 128GB of onboard storage with support for microSD cards up to 1TB. The triple camera setup includes a 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
