Samsung Smart Monitors with pre-installed streaming apps launched in India - Android

Samsung has introduced its Smart Monitor lineup in the Indian market. It comprises a total of three models aimed at delivering both productivity and entertainment to users. These are officially referred to as "Do-It-All" screens as they come loaded with a number of OTT (over-the-top) streaming applications along with the usual work-related features.

The lineup has two models named Samsung Smart Monitor M7 and Smart Monitor M5. The first one is available in a single 32-inch display size option with a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) panel. The second one offers a choice between 32-inch and 27-inch size options but with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Other than these differences, all other features and visual appearance elements are exactly the same.

These smart monitors offer 250 nits of brightness and run Tizen OS 5.5 out of the box. Some of the pre-installed apps include YouTube, Netflix, and Apple TV. It also has support for Samsung's own TV Plus service that it debuted in India recently. It goes without saying that users will need to have an active internet connection and relevant subscriptions to enjoy these services.
