When Microsoft debuted the Timeline feature in Windows 10 four years ago, it was hoping to enhance the productivity of users significantly. It is not hard to guess that the feature did not receive the expected level of reception from users as it is now set to lose one of its crucial aspects i.e. cross-device syncing ability.
As spotted by Thurrott in the latest official Microsoft blog, the team is working on removing Windows 10 Timeline's cross-device syncing functionality. The post is about the changes included in the newest Windows 10 Insider Preview build.
