Microsoft brings Auto HDR to Windows 10 for a more detailed gaming experience - Android

Microsoft Insider Preview 21337 brings a lot of new features, including Auto HDR, Virtual Desktops, new File Explorer's layout, and more.

Microsoft has released the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21337 and there are so many new features, improvements, and fixes included. One of the most notable changes is the Auto HDR feature for the gaming PC experience.

Microsoft has brought a preview of the Auto HDR feature to tell you the importance of this impressive improvement. Microsoft explains that when you enable this auto HDR feature on your HDR-capable gaming PC, you will get a brighter visual experience. HDR or High Definition Range enables a more immersive and realistic experience by showing the lights and darks with more detail than before. For instance, if there is a bright sun in the scene, you will see it warm yellow rather than a flat saturated and scattered white.

Microsoft has specifically mentioned that the HDR on a gaming PC will take DirectX 11 or DirectX 12 SDR-only games. Microsoft stresses that the Auto HDR feature brings a vastly improved experience over regular SDR and how easy it is to enable the Auto HDR. There is just a toggle included which you can On or Off. The new Auto HDR feature will work similarly to the one found on Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, according to Microsoft.
