Meizu has made official the new 18-series in China. The new series includes Meizu 18 and the Meizu 18 Pro smartphones, both of which feature the latest Snapdragon 888 processor. Both the phones have many other things in common as well apart from the processor. These include an AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a centrally positioned hole-punch.
They both look pretty identical when you see them from the front as they both feature a curved glass display; however, they appear different from the back. The Meizu 18 Pro carries four cameras on the back, whereas the standard Meizu 18 has a triple rear camera setup. The front camera of both phones support a 5-element lens, AI super clear portrait, backlight selfie HDR, super night view, screen flash, and face unlock. Also, the back cameras of both the phones offer Super Night View, AI dynamic tracking, and portrait blur. The Meizu 18 Pro is capable of recording 8K videos. Meizu 18 lacks wireless charging support.
Meizu 18 is compact in size when compared to its Pro model. It comes with a 6.2-inch screen size compared to the Meizu 18 Pro’s 6.7-inch screen.
