LinkedIn has officially confirmed that it is working on a Clubhouse clone. It is a feature that will allow users of the platform to create a room and interact with each other using audio-only mode. This is not something new as many other well-known social media platforms are also working on their respective Clubhouse-inspired offerings. Some of these include Facebook, Telegram, Spotify, and Slack.
As per the confirmation given to TechCrunch, LinkedIn says its take on Clubhouse will have a professional aspect attached to it. It will be more about allowing users to express their professional identities as compared to their whole social media identity which happens on other platforms. The team is also working on ensuring that there is a safe environment for everyone to participate in discussions without worrying about issues like getting abused.
