Earlier this week, LG made it official that it will not be making or releasing any new smartphones anymore but we do know that it was working on at least two premium offerings. These are LG Rollable, a rollable display smartphone, and LG V70 aka Rainbow which would have been the LG V60 ThinQ successor. Now, a tipster @FrontTron has shared real-life images of these phones showing a glimpse of their physical appearances.
The LG Rollable has been spotted on a Korean certification site with the model number LM-R910N. The phone is shown in a Black color variant with noticeable bezels on the sides. It is the same phone that was originally showcased at CES 2020 and was supposed to launch sometime this year. The listing on the website also confirms that it was pretty close to getting launched but as we all know now, it is very unlikely that we will get to see the phone become available commercially.
On another hand, the LG V70 is the same smartphone that has surfaced in previous leaks under the codename "Rainbow". The tipster has shared a render and a spec-sheet that he claims are fake ones. The spec-sheet gives an impression that it would have been a powerful device but tipster says that real specs of the device are actually much lower.
