Huawei has introduced its newest fitness tracker named Huawei Band 6. It is a successor to the Huawei Band 4 launched in 2019 but the reason behind skipping the number "5" is unknown. The new version has a big display, multiple workout modes, and a long-lasting battery life to help users worry less about charging the tracker.
The Huawei Band 6 sports a 1.47-inch FullView AMOLED rectangular display with 368 x 194 pixels resolution. It is claimed to be a 148% bigger display than the previous model and offers a 64% screen-to-body ratio. It means there are minimal bezels that give it a full-screen appearance. The weight of the tracker is just 18 grams excluding the strap which should be beneficial for those who would be wearing it for long hours.
In terms of health and fitness features, the Huawei Band 6 offers support for 96 workout modes. It has a SpO2 sensor with alerts for low SpO2 levels. It has 24/7 heart-rate monitoring and sleep tracking powered by Huawei's TruSeen 4.0 and TruSleep 2.0 technologies respectively. Other features include stress monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking, and water resistance up to 5ATM for swimming sessions.
