How to convert Microsoft Word files into PowerPoint presentations - Android

Microsoft has officially announced a new tool that will help users convert their Word files into PowerPoint presentations. It is online that will work only with Word and PowerPoint for the Web clients. The major thing to note is that you will need to be a Microsoft 365 paying subscriber to be able to use this new feature.

The first step is to open the Microsoft Word file on the web version that you would like to convert. The next step is to visit the options: File > Export > Export to PowerPoint presentation. The version will then show you a list of available PowerPoint themes which you can browse. Select the theme you would like to use and the tool will automatically handle the rest of the processing.

Once the conversion is complete, you can preview the PowerPoint presentation by clicking the Open presentation button. The tool will save the converted file in the OneDrive root folder on the user's computer. It should be noted that the feature is currently available only in the English language and that too only the text form. The media files can be added to the Powerpoint presentation after the conversion is done.
