Honor has announced two new products at an event in China. These include the Honor V40 Light Luxury edition smartphone and Honor Tab 7 tablet. The smartphone is simply a rebranded Huawei Nova 8 5G but with a different processor under the hood. As for the tablet, it is aimed at buyers with a limited budget.
The Honor V40 Light Luxury Edition sports a 6.57-inch Full HD+ (2676 x 1236 pixels) OLED punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor available with 8GB of RAM and two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. There is no microSD card support available with any of the variants.
The quad-camera setup on the back panel features a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture. a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 32-megapixel sensor housed within the centered punch-hole.
