HTC Wildfire E3 launches with Helio P22, quad cameras, 4000mAh battery - Android

It is currently available only in Russia.

HTC is not as active in the smartphone market as it used to be but it does keep releasing phones every now and then. It has now announced the HTC Wildfire E3 budget smartphone in Russia. It is a successor to last year's Wildfire E2 and brings a few noteworthy upgrades over the previous offering.

The HTC Wildfire E3 sports a 6.51-inch HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a dotted notch. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. There are 64GB and 128GB of onboard storage options for you to choose from. The phone supports microSD cards for storage expansion but there is no dedicated card slot. It means the phone can be either be used as a dual-SIM phone or with expandable storage functionality.

There is a quad-camera setup on the back featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is a 13-megapixel sensor housed within the notch. The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. It runs Android 10 out of the box which is an outdated Android version. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port.
