Clubhouse Android app is finally here - Android

After a long wait stretching for over a year, the Clubhouse application is finally available for Android. This is a beta release for the app as it was announced just last week. The company is committed to expanding at a gradual pace and does not want to hurry up things as it could result in issues that can be avoided.

It should be noted that the Clubhouse Android beta is currently limited to users in the United States. The team says it would be expanding the testing to more countries in the coming days or weeks. The roadmap including starting with beta in the US, then moving to other English-speaking countries, and then to the rest of the world. It is looking to gather feedback and implement new features as the days and weeks pass by. However, other users can choose to visit the app listing on the Play Store and pre-register for the app.

Clubhouse has been an invite-only app since its early days on iOS and the team is continuing with this approach on Android as well. It means even if you are in the US, you will need to have an invite to be able to use the app. The invite can be received either by joining the official waitlist or through any of your friends who are already using Clubhouse.
