Apple to host WWDC 2021 online-only event from June 7th - Android

It will be the second back-to-back online-only WWDC.

Apple has confirmed that Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC 2021) will take place from June 7th and will last until June 11th. It will be an online-only event like last year because of the still ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. It will be available for live streaming for everyone through different platforms.

WWDC is an annual developer conference held by Apple to showcase what it has been working on. We get to see new operating system builds which will be for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS this year. It will be talking about all the changes, new features, and improvements coming to each of these platforms. A developer preview will also be made available for Apple developers to get started with optimizing their apps ahead of the stable rollout.

The chances of seeing a new hardware announcement are very slim but not entirely zero. We have seen Apple reveal new products at WWDC from time to time but it is not a regular thing. The official channels are silent about such a possibility for this year which is a typical Apple behavior. We will have to wait and see if we get to hear any new product announcements.
