Apple has released the iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 beta 4 to the developers for testing purposes. The latest beta comes two weeks after Apple brought the third iOS and iPadOS update to the iPhone and iPad models.
It is currently unknown what new features the latest beta build brings in but the sleuths over at 9to5Mac were able to find an interesting tidbit from the iOS 14.5 beta 4 codes. According to their findings, Apple Music is adding new ‘City Charts’ daily playlists so that users can have access to playlists from over 100 cities around the world with the most played songs in each.
The tech blog specifically mentions that while the new change is reflected inside the iOS 14.5 codes, the feature is still not enabled on the front-end by Apple. It is expected that Apple will activate this feature on its Music app when it rolls out the stable iOS 14.5 to everyone. Currently, it is unknown what cities are going to be featured in ‘City Charts.’
