Apex Legends Mobile for Android, iOS officially announced - Android

EA will begin regional betas on Android later this month.

EA has finally announced that the Apex Legends Mobile game is set to debut on Android and iOS devices. It is the mobile version of the popular battle royale game that debuted on PCs and consoles in 2019. The announcement was made by Chad Grenier, Apex Legends' Director, through an official blog post.

The announcement reveals that Apex Legends Mobile regional betas will begin later this month. These will initially be available only in India and the Philippines. It will be a small group beta featuring up to a thousand users, to begin with. It should be noted that the beta version will be released only for Android devices and an iOS release will happen later.

The post describes Apex Legends Mobile as a game "specially designed for touchscreens, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that result in the most advanced battle royale combat available on a phone". The game is said to deliver an experience that will stay true to the original version.
