Amazon's 2021 Fire HD 10, Fire HD 10 Plus tablets official with MS Office apps - Android

Amazon has officially unveiled its 2021 lineup of Fire tablets along with a bunch of other noteworthy announcements. The start of the show is undoubtedly the new Fire HD 10 and Fire HD 10 Plus tablets. These are a lot slimmer than their predecessors and have improved specifications to match the modern demands.

Both the Fire HD 10 and Fire HD 10 Plus sport a 10.1-inch big display panel with Full HD+ resolution. There is a new undisclosed octa-core processor which is claimed to be more powerful than the last year. The standard model comes with 3GB of RAM but if you get the Plus variant, there is 4GB of RAM. Both models are available with 32GB and 64GB storage options with support for microSD cards.

The Plus model further has wireless charging support and a softback finish. There is also an optional Bluetooth keyboard cover available for both models. Amazon has priced the Fire HD 10 and Fire HD 10 Plus at $149.99 and $179.99 respectively. Amazon has announced, "Productivity Bundles" that include the tablet, a Bluetooth keyboard case, and 12-months of Microsoft 365 Personal subscription. These bundles start at $219.99 and if someone wants to purchase only the keyboard case stand-alone, it will cost $49.99.
