A new report has surfaced online sharing vital details related to the Xbox One S All Digital edition. It is an upcoming gaming console from Microsoft which will be focused solely on digital downloads. It means there will not be a Blu-Ray disc player for playing physical disks. The report is coming from a German publication WinFuture.de on the basis of a few rendered images.
Starting with the design, the Xbox One S All Digital edition looks exactly like the standard Xbox One S. The only major difference is that the upcoming variant lacks a disc player and unless you see that, it is almost impossible to distinguish between the two. It will be featuring 1TB storage space and come with three pre-installed games. These are said to include Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft, and Sea of Thieves which be installed on the console to eliminate the need of downloading them manually. All these details fall in line with a previous leak from last month.
Since there is no support for physical discs, users will have to buy new games digitally via the Microsoft Store. It will be up to the users whether they want to purchases new games individually or go for the Xbox Game Pass subscription. The Xbox One S All Digital edition is said to cost EUR 230 which is about $260. This is slightly expensive than the previously rumored $199 price tag but we would advise you to wait until the official announcement.
