This year the South Korean giant Samsung changed the strategy of releasing mid-range phones that's why the company is on the launching spree for quite some time. We have seen Samsung launched three new phones under the new Galaxy M lineup. On the other hand, Samsung launched six models of Galaxy A series during this year in less than four months. This indicates Samsung wants to remain in limelight like the Chinese competitors.
From the look of the things, the company is now getting ready to release another Galaxy M-lineup phone. The device is likely to go official as Galaxy M40. Today the device appeared at the Wi-Fi Alliance which means the official launch is inching closer.
The device bearing model number SM-M405F/DS cleared Wi-Fi certification. The Galaxy M30 international variant model number is M305F that's why the chances are high the upcoming device will be dubbed as Galaxy M40. Being a mid-range phone the Galaxy M40 will feature polycarbonate design. On the front-facing side, you will get Infinity-U display. It could have an under-glass optical fingerprint scanner.
