A couple of days ago we shared hands-on images of Samsung Galaxy J6 which confirms many design details regarding the device. Today a number of official J6 renders appear on the Dutch retailer Belsimpel which reveals all design aspects in full glory. The new official renders once again confirmed that Galaxy J6 will be Samsung's first entry-level smartphone to have Infinity display. So far the design is exclusive for the Galaxy S, Note and A-series only.
Finally, the company is bringing the Infinity display for their J-series smartphone as well. As expected the J6 display isn't curved from edges instead it has flat edges. The device has on-screen navigation buttons and the fingerprint scanner is on the rear side below the single rear snapper. As reported earlier the J6 doesn't have unibody metal design instead it comes with the plastic rear body. Also, it is important to mention that despite having plastic rear it won't be removable. Despite having Infinity display the J6 has enough bezels around the corner. The viewing angles are pretty great thanks to Super AMOLED panel.
From what we know so far the J6 will be featuring a 5.6-inches display with 18.5:9 display. The company's own Exynos 7870 SoC will be powering the device. There will be three variants based on RAM including 2, 3, and 4GB RAM and storage up to 64GB. Its memory will be further expandable using MicroSD card. The primary snapper on the rear is 13MP whereas the front-facing selfie camera will be 8MP. Both the cameras have LED flashlight. A 3,000mAh battery cell is on board to keep its lights. Apart from fingerprint scanner the device also supports facial recognition as well. As OS the Android Oreo is pre-installed straight out of the box.
