After launching Nokia 7.1 last week, HMD Global has today launched its new Nokia 3.1 Plus smartphone in India. As the same suggests, the phone is a successor to the Nokia 3.1 which was launched in India a couple of months ago.
The phone features a 6-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor which is manufactured using 12nm process. It packs 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage. It supports expandable storage up to 400GB using microSD card.
For photography, the smartphone features a 13MP Phase Detection Auto Focus main camera and a 5MP secondary camera for depth sensing. On the front, there’s an 8MP camera for taking selfies. Both the camera also supports Portrait mode.
It is a part of Google’s Android One program and comes pre-installed with Android 9 Pie operating system. The company has also promised to offer monthly security updates.
The phone is powered by a 3,500mAh battery and comes with AI-powered battery saving feature. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nokia 3.1 Plus comes in three colors — Blue, White and Baltic, and is priced at Rs. 11,499 for the 3GB RAM model. The company has not yet revealed the pricing for the 2GB RAM model.
