Amazon recently updated its apps for both Android and iOS platforms and now in the latest development, the company has launched an app for Windows 10 PC for the first time that is available to be downloaded via the Microsoft Store. The app allows the Windows 10 PC users to set reminders, timers, and alarms or may that be the creation of the lists, to-do tasks, tracking appointment, checking the weather, news, playing music and just about everything related to productivity could be achieved with simple voice commands.
The app performs how we would expect Amazon Alexa to work on the mobile devices doing the various task for the mobile users. The app would help the Windows PC users to harness the power of Amazon Alexa in case they don’t happen to have access to the Amazon’s smart home devices like Amazon Echo. In addition, the app also brings support for the thousands of Alexa skills as per Amazon.
As you may expect, there are yet some features that won’t be available like video communication, Spotify and Pandora which we could expect to be coming soon in the later version of the app. Do you see your self-using Amazon Alexa app for Windows 10 PC? Let us know in the comment section below.
