The next gen of Moto G series phones won't hit before H1 2019 but that doesn't stop rumors appearing online. In last few weeks the Moto G-lineup is coming in limelight thanks to earlier rumors which suggest the next-gen of Moto G phones will be released either in Q1 or in early Q2 2019. Apart from the speculated release date, we have an alleged specs sheet as well.
Today one of the most reliable tipster OnLeaks releases a new batch of Moto G7 renders which reveal key details regarding the design. Starting from the front, the Moto G7 has a waterdrop notch like most of the latest phones from Oppo and Vivo. The chassis is made up of metal with curved glass covering the rear side. The device measurements are 157 x 75.3 x 8mm and the rear camera slightly protruding at 9.5mm. Thanks to water drop notch the screen-to-body ratio will be much higher than the predecessor. Despite having an ultra-thin notch at the top, it has a significant bezel on the bottom.
The notch features selfie camera and a couple of holes for front-facing sensors. On the bottom side, you will find a micro hole for the microphone. The bottom edge features the USB-C port alongside the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack.
