Moto G100 aka Edge S global version spotted on Geekbench - Android

The Moto G100 is listed with the Snapdragon 870 processor.

Motorola's globally popular Moto G-series of smartphones expanded last week to include two new smartphones Moto G10 and Moto G30. The team is ready to add a third member to the family which is rumored to be called Moto G100. It is tipped to be a rebranded Moto Edge S that launched in China last month. It is claimed to be the most powerful Moto G-series smartphone ever.

The alleged Moto G100 has now made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The listing mentions "G100" as the phone's name and "Nio" as the motherboard codename. If you might remember, "Nio" is the codename for Moto Edge S which corroborates claims of Moto G100 being nothing but a rebranded Edge S for the global market.

The listing shows that the phone has an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.80GHz and is accompanied by an Adreno G50 graphics card. This leads us to believe that processor is Snapdragon 870, the same chipset that debuted on the Moto Edge S. The phone further has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 11 as the operating system. It managed to reach scores of 957 and 2815 on single-core and multi-core tests.
