Press renders of Huawei’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, called Huawei Y7 Prime 2019, have surfaced online. The device is seen featuring a waterdrop notch design, and dual rear-cameras. The leaked renders give us a look at the phone design as well as different color options.
The front of the device has an almost bezel-less display with water-drop notch design and a small chin at the bottom, while the volume rocker and the power button are on the right side frame of the device. The rear panel of the smartphone features a dual-camera setup accompanied by a LED flash. The images, shared by MySmartPrice, show three color variants that include Gradient Blue, Gradient Pink, and Black. The front camera of the smartphone is housed inside the water-drop notch setup.
With the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 (Enjoy 9), the Chinese company might have global ambitions and could be preparing to launch this device around the world. In terms of specifications, the smartphone will flaunt a 6.26-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch. Under the hood is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM, and 32GB/64GB storage options.
At the back will be a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. At the front, there is a single 8-megapixel sensor in the display notch. The smartphone is expected to pack a 3,950mAh battery with Super Charge support. The smartphone is also expected to run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
According to previous leaks, the price of the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 will be around $215 (approximately Rs 15,000). The device would be launched soon in the Chinese market, and could debut in the European market later, although the specific release date has not been leaked yet.
