The Chinese giant Huawei confirmed the announcement of Mate 20 series back at IFA 2018. Since then we have been hearing rumors continuously almost on daily basis. Now the launch is around the corner, today the Mate 20 Pro appears at the AnTuTu benchmark listing. Last year Huawei was one of the first OEM to introduce flagship chipset with the dedicated Neural processing unit.
This year Huawei is the first smartphone company in the Android market to introduce Kirin 980 built on the 7nm process. The upcoming flagships Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will be the first phone in the market with the Kirin 980 SoC. The AnTuTu listing reveals the true power of the latest Kirin 980 in terms of performance.
The Mate 20 Pro variant bearing model number LYA-L29 appeared at AnTuTu. As per the listing, the device features 6GB and native storage is 128GB. The Mate 20 Pro CPU scored 115296, GPU achieved 112516. The UX and memory received 69456 and 16293 scores respectively. Overall the Mate 10 Pro managed to achieve 313561 scores.
