Finally, the wait is over as the Chinese giant Honor unveiled their latest mid-range Honor 8C alongside Honor MediaPad T5 for the Chinese customers. The Honor 8C is the new mid-range offering from Honor, the device is the direct successor of Honor 7C announced back in March this year. The Honor 8C will be available in four striking color variants including Midnight Black, Aurora Blue, Nebula Purple, and Platinum Gold.
The Honor 8C sports a 6.26-inches notch display with HD+ screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The device aspect ratio is 19:9 and screen-to-body is 80.4%. Under the hood, the Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 632 chipset is powering the device. The base variant has 4GB RAM with 32GB native storage whereas the top of the line model has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The Honor 8C has dual rear snappers, the primary sensor is a 13MP module with f/1.8 aperture whereas the secondary sensor is 2MP with f/2.4 aperture. Up front, the selfie snapper is 8MP with f/2.0 aperture. The rear and front camera are accompanied by a single LED flashlight. The fingerprint scanner is on the rear side in the center below the camera sensors. It also has AI facial recognition as a secondary security option.
As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1 with EMUI 8.2 layer over it. The Honor 8C lights are kept on by a 4,000mAh battery cell and also supports 5V/2A fast charging. Its dimensions are 158.72 x 75.94 x 7.98mm and weighs 167.2g.
