Dark Mode for Facebook on iOS reportedly under development | UPD - Out for testing now - Android

Facebook is reportedly developing the Dark Mode for its app on iOS. Screenshots are available.

Update: June 29, 2020

Previously, the Dark Mode on Facebook for iOS was uncovered by WABetaInfo. The tipster was able to enable the mode on Facebook on iOS platform and later the folks over at 9to5Mac managed to share some screenshots of the app with Dark Mode switched ON. But the mode was not rolled out officially by Facebook for everyone or even for testing. WABetaInfo often uncovers unreleased features of some apps by digging into their respective betas and that early look was one of the stints of the tipster Furthermore, it also came as a piece of evidence that Facebook is working on it.

Now Facebook has enabled the Dark Mode, at least for some users. Reportedly, Facebook is currently testing the feature for mobile users, but iOS users have primarily reported it. As confirmed by Social Media Today, the feature is currently available to a small number of users globally. This suggests that the company has started rolling out the feature to the users but it is taking a gradual approach in doing so.
