Apple has announced Fitness+ subscription-based virtual fitness class service for Apple Watch. It was revealed alongside the launch of Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE hours ago. The service is aimed at helping Watch users get their personalized fitness classes and workout routines directly from their home.
Fitness+ will show exercises/workouts that require equipment as well as the ones that do not require equipment. It is all about giving freedom to users about what exercise they should do. It is powered by artificial intelligence that helps it suggest exercises based on the ones completed by the user in the past. In other words, the service will offer recommendations on the basis of the type of exercise you prefer to do. There are also filters like trainer name, workout duration, and Apple Music type for the manual selection of workout that can be helpful if the user is looking for something particular.
The good thing is that the service can also be used on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. A user can choose the workout type using the app and it will show relevant video clips on the connected device. It will also start the workout type on Apple Watch at the same time so that users can track crucial data with ease. The same information will also be shown on the paired device screen.
